Here goes nothing

So I have started this blog with the hope that it will live up to the name: “A blog post a day keeps the crazy away.” I am a twenty-something year old with a trillion and one thoughts bouncing around my head all at the same time. While they are up there mingling, competing, and entertaining one another, in reality what they are doing is driving me crazy. Through this blog I hope to free some of my thoughts, learn a bit about myself, become a better writer, and obviously feel a tad less insane.

To start things up, I have decided to join the A-Z challenge for April 2013. Chances are that if you are reading this post, it is because the A-Z challenge brought you to my page. Out of respect to you (and as a testament to my laziness) I will not explain what the challenge is. Just know that I am really excited and hope you are as well! Here are some things I want to put out there before I begin:

1) My thoughts are more disorganized than you could ever begin to imagine. I am trying to fix this so please be patient.

2) I pride myself on having above average grammar skills. If you find any grammar or spelling mistakes, please comment and let me know. Public humiliation is the only way I will learn.

3) I really don’t know what to write here, I just felt like I needed a third point because the two above looked lonely without the third. Here goes nothing!

  1. In my very first post, I mentioned that I take pride in my grammar and spelling and asked for corrections if anyone noticed any mistakes. Of course, I always go back an hour after posting to see if I can find any. I usually do, but occasionally someone will find one.

Good luck on the challenge. I’ve been blogging for three years, but this is my first year with A to Z.
